Hi, I’m Alisha!

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and fish. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy and loved while their owners are away.

I also have professional experience in animal care. I worked at Pets at Home for two years, where I cared for a wide variety of animals and learned about their health, behaviour and daily needs. I then completed a Derby College apprenticeship in Animal Care and Welfare, giving me even more hands-on experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young or elderly, I’ll provide patient, reliable and attentive care.

I offer 30-minute dog walks, 30-minute cat visits (one or two visits per day), overnight house sitting in your home, and pet transportation using my own reliable car if needed. Overnight pet sitting includes staying in your home, following your pet's normal routine, feeding, toilet breaks, companionship and care whilst you're away. Walks and additional visits can be discussed depending on your pet's needs.

During visits, I’m happy to feed your pets, refresh water, clean litter trays or hutches, administer medication if required, provide enrichment and playtime, and of course give them plenty of love and attention.

I have experience caring for a wide range of animals, from cats and dogs to farm animals, rabbits, birds, reptiles and other small pets. I always take the time to follow your pet’s normal routine, as I know consistency helps them feel relaxed and secure.

Your pet’s wellbeing is my priority. I follow their usual feeding, walking and play schedule as closely as possible, ensuring they receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and affection. Pets are not left alone for extended periods, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. If an emergency were ever to arise, I would contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your pet to your preferred veterinary practice.

I’m reliable, trustworthy and treat every animal as if they were my own. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your beloved pet is in safe, caring hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered!) family members!
