About Kate

I'm a massive dog lover who'd love a dog of my own (but this is the best option for now!) I live in a house with an enclosed garden and work from home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (most weeks).

Where I live there are gorgeous places to walk dogs both with other dogs, or in areas where there are fewer about for any reactive or shy dogs.

I've had dogs my whole life (Finn is the brown jack Russell cross, and Alfie was the Lakeland terrier) and experience with reactive dogs and dogs with issues. I look after my parents dog also so have plenty of toys! I live with my fiance who also loves dogs just as much.

As we work from home a few days a week (above) we're able to look after and walk dogs during the day. We could also have overnight as required. My work is also relatively flexible so if additional days are needed that could be worked around.

For the first two weeks in November I'll be around full time between jobs!

Typically dog walks would be about 45-1 hour over lunch and then another walk of 40-1 hour in the afternoon, depending on the dog size and age. A similar duration morning walk would be done also (depending on the time they're here!)

Dogs wouldn't be left alone while I'm working from home. If they stay for a longer duration than a day, max they would be left is 4 hours - unless discussed otherwise with owners.

Food wise, feeding at breakfast of biscuits and then a dinner of wet food and biscuits - unless alternative discussed with owners! (I know all doggos are different!)
