Hi! My name is Mia, I’m a 23-year-old Australian living in North London, and I’d love to help look after your furry friend! 🐶❤️

I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have spent the past two years in London looking after other people’s dogs. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog while you’re away, and I want to make sure both you and your dog feel comfortable from the moment you book.

I live alone in a quiet, comfortable home and work from home five days a week, which means your dog will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, settled and at home, rather than feeling like they’re just being looked after.

🏡 Dog Sitting in My Home

I currently offer dog sitting in my own home, as that’s how my living arrangements are set up. My home is a calm environment where your dog can relax, feel comfortable and get lots of attention.

When your dog stays with me, I’ll make sure they have:

* Regular meals and fresh water: I’ll follow their usual feeding schedule and any dietary instructions you provide.

* Daily walks and exercise: I’ll make sure they get fresh air, toilet breaks and exercise suited to their age, energy levels and usual routine.

* A comfortable place to sleep: Your dog will have a cosy space to rest. You’re welcome to bring their own bed, blanket or favourite toys to help them settle in.

* Plenty of attention and company: As I work from home five days a week, I’ll be around throughout the day to keep them company, give them affection and make sure they’re comfortable.

* Playtime and enrichment: Whether they enjoy playing with their toys, exploring outside or simply relaxing beside me, I’ll do my best to make their stay enjoyable.

* Updates while you’re away: I’m happy to send photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands.

🐕 Dog Walking

I want to make sure your dog gets the exercise, fresh air and sniffing time they need. Walks can be tailored to their age, energy levels, personality and usual routine.

I can offer:

* 30-minute walks: Ideal for toilet breaks, a little exercise and some fresh air.

* 60-minute walks: Great for dogs who enjoy longer adventures, exploring and having more time to exercise.

* Personalised walks: Whether your dog prefers a gentle stroll, a more energetic walk or a quieter route, I’ll adapt to what suits them best.

I’m based in North London, with lovely walking areas in and around Muswell Hill, including Alexandra Park, Parkland Walk, Highgate Wood and Coldfall Wood. I’m happy to choose a suitable route based on your dog’s needs and your preferences.

🏠 Home Visits & Check-Ins

If you need someone to check in on your pet while you’re out, I can arrange visits of around 30 or 60 minutes, depending on their needs and availability.

Visits can include:

* Feeding your pet at their usual mealtimes and refreshing their water.

* Letting your dog out for a toilet break or taking them for a short walk.

* Giving them attention, affection and playtime.

* Cleaning up small pet-related messes and making sure they’re comfortable.

* Following your instructions to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible.

⏰ Time Alone & Supervision

As I work from home five days a week, your dog will generally have company and supervision throughout the day. I understand that some dogs are comfortable being left alone for short periods, while others need more reassurance.

Please let me know how your dog handles being alone so we can discuss what’s appropriate before booking. I won’t agree to a stay that requires your dog to be left alone for longer than I’m comfortable with.

💊 Medication & Special Requirements

I’m happy to discuss straightforward care requirements in advance, including following clear written instructions for routine oral medication where I’m confident administering it safely.

Please let me know about any medication, allergies, health conditions or special dietary requirements before booking. I’m not able to guarantee injections, complex medical care or emergency veterinary treatment.

❤️ A Little About the Dogs I Care For

For everyone’s safety and comfort, I’m generally best suited to friendly, toilet-trained dogs. I don’t normally take on dogs with a history of aggression, but I’m happy to discuss individual circumstances beforehand to see whether I’d be a suitable fit.

I’m also very flexible and accommodating, and I’ll always do my best to work around your schedule and what suits you and your dog.

My goal is to make sure your dog feels loved, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away, giving you peace of mind that they’re in safe hands.
