I’ve always loved being around animals and have grown up with pets all my life. In 2020, I rescued a gorgeous senior Staffie called Duke, who became a huge part of my world. I’ve also always had cats at home, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I really miss having my own pets, so pet sitting feels like a lovely way to spend time with animals while giving them the care, attention and affection they deserve.

I have experience looking after friends and neighbours pets, as well as pet sitting on a farm where I cared for two dogs who needed daily medication and eye drops. My own dog, Duke, also required daily medication, so I’m very comfortable following medication routines and making sure pets receive the care they need.

For dog walking, I’m happy to offer anything from a 30-minute walk to several hours, depending on your dog’s needs, energy levels and what works best for them. If I have a full day off and your dog enjoys long walks, I’d be very happy to spend several hours out exploring with them rather than simply doing a quick walk around the block. I’m equally happy with slower, shorter walks for older dogs or dogs who prefer a more relaxed pace.

For pet sitting and home visits, I’ll make sure your pets are fed, exercised, given any medication they need, and have plenty of company, attention and affection. I’m calm, patient, reliable and responsible, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own.

I’m happy caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes and personalities. I understand that some pets need extra patience, medication or a little more reassurance, and I’m very happy to work around their individual routines. My priority is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for while you’re away.
