Hi, I’m Joey! 🐾 I’m a caring, patient and reliable pet lover offering drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I work from home, which gives me good flexibility during the day and allows me to fit visits around my working hours.

I’ve had my own cat for the past 8 years, so pets have been a big part of my life for a long time. I also have some experience caring for tortoises, which has given me an appreciation for how different animals have their own specific routines, environments and care needs. I’m comfortable with day-to-day pet care, including feeding, fresh water, cleaning, grooming, playtime and giving plenty of attention and affection. I’m always happy to follow an owner’s specific instructions to make sure their pet is cared for properly. 🐱🐢

I understand that every pet is different, so I always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During a drop-in visit, I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles and companionship, as well as cleaning food and water bowls or litter trays where needed. I’m also happy to bring in post, open or close curtains and help make your home look lived-in while you’re away.

For dogs, I’m happy to provide toilet breaks and short walks where appropriate. Walks can be tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine, whether they prefer a gentle 15–20 minute stroll around the local area or some extra play and exercise. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding leads, recall and where your dog is comfortable being walked.

For cats, I’m happy to spend time playing with them, giving them attention and affection, or simply keeping them company. I’m equally comfortable with independent cats who prefer their own space and will never force interaction if they’re feeling shy.

Visits can be tailored to your pet’s needs, and I’ll always make sure they are settled and comfortable before I leave. I’m happy to send photos and updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. ❤️

I can also provide basic medication support where instructions are clear and I’m comfortable doing so, such as giving tablets or applying prescribed topical treatments. I would always follow your instructions carefully and only provide medication that has been supplied and clearly explained by you.
