I’ve grown up surrounded by animals in Devon, with dogs, cats and even guinea pigs always part of family life. Back home, we currently have three big dogs—Arthur, Alfred and Winston—who are honestly the centre of our world. Being around them has shaped how much I genuinely love and understand animals, especially dogs of all sizes and personalities as well as their routine, and what they need day to day. I really understand how important consistency is for dogs—their walks, feeding times, exercise, rest and companionship—and how much they thrive when those routines are maintained. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs so they feel comfortable, secure and happy while you’re away, and so you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in safe, caring hands.

I’m definitely the kind of person who stops in the street to say hello to every dog I pass. I feel completely comfortable handling and caring for dogs, whether that’s long walks, keeping them entertained, or managing more energetic or strong personalities with confidence.

I now live in Fulham and work in environmental consultancy and can work at home most days. I love staying active—running, cycling and walking—so having a dog to join me is something I really enjoy. Spending time outdoors with animals is one of my favourite ways to unwind. I live near green spaces and also have a modest garden.

I also have hands-on experience with both babysitting and pet sitting over the years, including overnight dog sitting for a week looking after a lovely spaniel. On top of that, I’ve volunteered internationally, including working on a game park in South Africa and helping with turtle conservation in Costa Rica, which deepened my respect and passion for animals even more.

For me, pet sitting isn’t just a favour—it’s something I genuinely love. I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for at all times.
