Hi, I’m Chanel. I’m a lifelong animal lover and have grown up surrounded by pets, including seven dogs and two cats who now live with my parents. I’ve helped care for them throughout my life and have also adopted, fostered and supported rescue animals, so I’m very comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines and needs.

I recently completed a three-week house sit in Notting Hill caring for three cats over the holiday period. The owner described it as the best sit they’ve ever had, and was especially happy that the cats were relaxed and content and that their home was left clean, secure and well looked after. Providing that level of comfort and peace of mind is what motivates me as a sitter.

I’m based in Clapham, but I’m very happy to travel for bookings that are generally up to around an hour by public transport, including Notting Hill, Kensington, Chelsea, Battersea, Fulham and surrounding neighbourhoods.

I’m comfortable working in homes where a high level of trust, communication and care is expected and I’m used to adapting to well-established routines, household preferences and pets who are used to calm, comfortable environments. I currently have good availability and a flexible schedule, which means I can spend quality time with your pets and give them consistent companionship.

About my experience and services

I have many years of personal and formal pet care experience from my own animals, fostering, volunteering, dog walking and house sitting. I am comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, seniors as well as younger pets, and I am patient, calm and attentive. I can follow detailed care instructions and I am happy to give basic oral or topical medication if required and shown by the owner.

Here is what I offer:

- Home visits
30 or 60 minute visits depending on your booking. I feed, refresh water, clean litter trays or feeding areas, give playtime and company and send photo updates. I am also happy to water plants, take in parcels or mail and keep an eye on the home while you are away.

- Dog walking
Standard walks are 30 or 60 minutes. I walk locally in safe, pet-friendly areas and avoid overcrowded or stressful environments for nervous dogs. I only walk one household at a time so your dog receives my full attention.

- House sitting / overnight care
I can stay overnight or provide full-day or 24-hour house sitting depending on your needs. While house sitting I treat your home with respect, keep doors and windows secure, follow your household rules and maintain normal routines so your pets feel comfortable.

Availability and care approach

I am reliable, tidy and communicative and I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets and your home. I aim to keep pets happy, relaxed and stimulated, while keeping owners fully updated so you can enjoy your time away without worry.
