Hello

My name is Laura and I'm a 33-year old professional living in London with my partner. 

For me animals have been my life since the day I was born, I never liked dolls it was always cuddly animals. 

I have grown up with animals all my life, dogs and cats, hamsters, budgies and fish, but currently in my London home we have two cats (and we have also built a home in the garden for a stray cat who we feed). The dogs we had growing up were 2x dachshunds and I plan to adopt a rescue dog as soon as we move into a home with more space. My grandparents had a labroador so I am also used to big strong dogs. I also have extesive experience with kittens with my current cat having had two litters and my old cats also having had one litter each. As a teenager I also spent the school holidays assisting at the local cattery and kennels and so have met many hundreds of pets - including anxious pets, playful pets, energetic pets. 

Aside from domestic pet expeirence I have worked extensively as a vetinary assistant in Africa for a total of over 18 months with wild animals including lions, cheetas, hyenas, caracals, servals and giraffes. I spent much removing ticks from these animals, administering medical care, feeding them and providing enrichment, love and many many cuddles. This work involved extensive training in animal behaviour. 

I am very hands on and very capable with all types of animals, I am comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes and have a deep understanding of how they're feeling and how to interact with them respectfully and lovingly. If a pet allows cuddles and strokes you can guarantee I will be cuddling and stroking. 

I can be very flexible with what I offer and please feel free to just ask if you have any particular requirements of questions. 

The reason I have created a pawshake account is for my love of animals, with the added benefit of earning extra income to pay for our wedding next year. 

Wednesdays, Fridays and Weekends are usually my free days. I am free all evenings all week too. However, I can be flexible so please do ask.

Walk durations between 30-60 minutes. Happy to us toys / balls. I'm familiar with most of the south west London and central London parks. 

Happy to feed, groom, cuddle, stroke, walk, play. I also have a car which I am happy to use. I am more than happy to send whatsapp updates / photos as frequently as required. 

I look forward to hopefully meeting lots of gorgeous beloved pets soon.
