I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, so being around animals has always just felt normal to me. I’ve looked after all kinds of pets over the years through pet sitting and house sitting, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their different personalities.

I’m quite active, big into fitness, so I naturally love getting outside for long walks, runs, and fresh air. It’s definitely my happy place, probably from growing up in South Africa. That means if you’ve got a high-energy dog, I’m more than happy to keep up and make sure they get proper exercise. At the same time, I’m just as comfortable slowing things down for older pets or ones that just want company and a more relaxed pace.

Day to day, I stick closely to whatever routine your pet is used to. That includes feeding times, walks usually around 30 to 60 minutes or longer if needed, playtime, or just keeping them company so they are not left alone too long. I know how important consistency is for them.

I live with my partner, who also loves animals, especially cats, so your pet will always be in a warm and welcoming environment with plenty of attention.

I’m also comfortable with pets that need a bit of extra care, whether that’s giving medication, helping nervous animals settle in, or just being patient and attentive.

I take looking after someone’s home seriously too. I’m tidy, respectful, and will treat your space like my own. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands.
