Hi, I’m Imogen!

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and can’t imagine life without them. My family has always had at least three dogs, and I’ve always been involved in caring for them. We currently have rescue dogs, so I’ve had lots of hands-on experience with different personalities, including dogs who are nervous or need a little extra patience and understanding.

While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly dog sit for friends, from day visits to overnight stays, and love getting to know each dog’s personality and routine.

I live in a house in Clapham with my boyfriend and sister, who are both huge dog lovers, and we have a large, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play and explore. I only look after one owner’s dog(s) at a time, so your dog will have plenty of attention and a calm, home-from-home environment.

I work from home two days a week, so your dog will have lots of company throughout the day. During my lunch breaks I love walking around Clapham Common, and I usually provide 2-3 walks a day (around 20-40 minutes each), depending on what your dog is used to. I always walk dogs on lead unless you’ve told me otherwise. My office is also pet friendly, so for suitable dogs, and if you’re happy for me to, I’d be more than happy to bring them with me rather than leave them at home. The only time your dog may be left is if I pop to the gym for around an hour.

I’ll always stick to your dog’s normal routine, whether that’s feeding times, sleeping on the sofa, or reinforcing any basic training you’re already working on. I’m also comfortable giving tablets, liquid medication, eye and ear drops, and injections if needed.

Your dog’s safety is my priority. The garden is fully enclosed, I’ll always make sure gates and doors are secure, and if anything unexpected were to happen, I’d contact you straight away and take your dog to your preferred vet (or the nearest emergency vet if needed).

I genuinely just love having a dog around the house, whether that’s heading out for a walk, playing in the garden or ending the day with cuddles on the sofa. I’ll send as many photo and video updates as you’d like so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well looked after. I’m also DBS checked for extra peace of mind.

I only accept dogs that are friendly towards people, and I’d always like to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure we’re a great fit.
