I’m a Veterinary Nursing student currently working as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a veterinary clinic, with previous experience caring for dogs through walking and boarding. I have my own 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, who is a very sweet and friendly 5kg dog, so boarding dogs must be comfortable and friendly around other dogs. I’m caring, patient and attentive, and my veterinary background gives me a good understanding of animal health, behaviour, handling and welfare.

For dog walking, I offer 30-minute to 1-hour walks, usually in parks or local areas close to your home. I prefer to walk dogs individually, although I can walk up to two dogs together if they are from the same household.

For boarding, I provide a home-from-home routine tailored to each dog. A typical day includes a morning walk, breakfast, play and companionship, an afternoon walk, dinner and an evening walk when needed. Dogs are never left alone, as either I or my partner will always be home. They can sleep in my bedroom, on the furniture or on the bed, depending on your preference. I also have a crate available, or owners are welcome to bring their own.

I’m happy to care for dogs with medications or special routines, as I’m experienced with this through my veterinary work and studies. Home visits and pet sitting are usually 30 minutes to 1 hour and can include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks, play, medication, cleaning accidents and regular photo updates. I also offer cat sitting. Overnight house sitting is available for an additional fee and is provided by myself and my partner.

In an emergency, I will contact the owner immediately, follow their preferred veterinary arrangements and seek emergency veterinary care when needed, keeping them updated throughout. I do not accept unvaccinated dogs, dogs that are not dog-friendly or dogs with severe separation anxiety. Above all, I want every owner to feel that their pet is safe, loved, professionally cared for and truly at home, while giving them complete peace of mind.
