I’ve grown up in a house with dogs since I was little (Ruby and Reggie)! My friends, family and neighbours have always trusted and relied on me to walk, play and look after their pets, which has forever been my favourite thing to do. Being a young professional working from home for most of the week I’m really missing having my family dogs around!

Over the 7 years i've lived in London I've had regular dog sitting experience including looking after a cocker spaniel twice a week and often over weekends. Last autumn I moved to the area and am now in position to help with either day sitting, overnight stays, walks or longer term stays. I'm very excited as I'm missing having some furry friends around, especially with all the green space in south west!

I live in a spacious maisonette very close to the park and have a large fenced outdoor terrace space. I work from home in the kitchen and living area and go on regular walks throughout the day. At weekends, I often travel further afield for longer forest walks and weekends away at my family home in the countryside.

I have experience in looking after puppies as well as elderly dogs. Every pet is different and learning about your specific pet prior to them being left with me is extremely important to me. I can tailor my services to suite most behavioural types and provide regular updates throughout the day.

In my home they are more than welcome to wonder and rest wherever they like, including on the sofa (of course only if the owner is comfortable with this!)

My services include:

- Day sitting: This typically includes 3x walks (depending on the dog), regular play time and timely meals. Dogs would rarely be left alone during this time except potentially popping to the shop (if owner has agreed to this in advance)

- Overnight stays: pets are welcome to sleep in the living area or in the bedroom, wherever the owner feels they will feel most comfortable. Overnight stays also includes weekends when available.

- Dog walking: usually over lunch time round Wandsworth Park or further afield depending on the dog. This can be on leash or off, again depending on the dog and what the owner is comfortable with!

Please note that in the case of any emergency I would contact the owner and if required the pets vet immediately. I have a car at hand when needed.

Before any services begin I like to meet with the owner and pet in a neutral setting first to make sure it's a match on both sides. This also allows me gather as much information on the dogs personality and specific needs. For first time drop offs this would need to be discussed with the owner to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for the dog.
