I have grown up around pets and always loved how much joy they brought to my home and family. I currently live in London to do a master's degree and while that can get very stressful and makes me study a lot, I would love to balance that out by taking care of some furry cuties to get out of the house, see more of the city and help make some pets happy.
I mostly grew up around cats and had a family cat for 16 years that lived inside and outside and unfortunately became quite sick in its last years, so I know what it means to take care of and comfort an animal with special needs. I also have some experience in taking care of friends' and family dogs for a couple weeks while their owners were away and enjoy training and being active with them outside.
Since I do like all kinds of pets I decided to do a volunteering after my undergrad and worked for two months in a seabird sanctuary mainly taking care of penguins, gaining a lot of experience in handling birds.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some London pets! This summer I have only my dissertation left to write and am therefore super flexible and can see pets at any time of the day and also for longer times.
