I’ve spent my whole life around animals, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, learning their routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their pawrent is away.

A lot of my experience comes from caring for my own fur babies: my needy dachshund Otie (or Otis when he’s being addressed by his government name), my rescued cats, including a kitten who brings plenty of energy and chaos, and my two senior boys, who are grumpy, spoiled and very particular about how things should be done. I’ve also cared for other people’s pets over the years, so I’m comfortable with clingy dogs, hyper kittens, nervous rescues and senior cats who need a calmer, more patient approach.

My cat Bia had chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, so I also have experience giving medication, supplements and fluids, as well as closely monitoring appetite, behaviour and comfort.

Before a booking, I’ll take the time to understand your pet’s routine, habits, triggers, medication and any important emergency information. If anything seems unusual, I’ll contact you straight away. I know how nerve-racking it can be to trust someone else with your pets, so I’ll give them the attention or space they need and send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away :)
