Hi! I’m Fernanda, and I’ve been around animals pretty much my whole life. I’ve always had pets growing up, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and rodents, so looking after animals has always come naturally to me. I studied Veterinary Nursing in Brazil, where I also did an internship at a veterinary clinic and volunteered helping abandoned and rescued animals. I don’t currently work in the veterinary field, as I’m now working in cybersecurity, but I still have a lot of knowledge about animal care, behaviour, basic first aid and recognising when something isn’t quite right. I’m usually the person my friends and neighbours ask to look after their pets when they’re away. I regularly look after my neighbour’s dog and my friends’ rabbit, and I’ve been doing this for years, sometimes paid and sometimes just because I genuinely enjoy it! My work can be quite flexible, so I often have time for dog walks, feeding, visits and pet sitting. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, give them plenty of attention and send you photos and updates while you’re away. I know how much pets mean to their owners, and I’d always treat yours as if they were my own! 🐾
