Hi, my name is Melisa. I am originally from Istanbul and will be staying in London for three months for work. Back home, I have a dog named Foxy, who I adopted when she was about 1.5–2 years old after she was rescued from the streets. We have been together for seven years now, and she lives happily with my parents while I am away. Being apart from her is not easy, and I already miss our daily walks and the joy she brings into my life.

Caring for Foxy has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of building trust with a dog. Over the years, I have also taken care of my friends’ cats and dogs whenever they were away on holiday, making sure their pets felt safe and loved. Growing up in Istanbul, where there are many stray animals, I often showed kindness and care to dogs and cats on the streets as well. These experiences have given me a strong sense of responsibility and a deep connection to animals.

I am very comfortable with small and medium-sized breeds, and I always make sure they feel secure, happy, and well looked after. Since I truly love dogs, I would be delighted to spend time with and walk other dogs while I’m in London. I am responsible, gentle, and attentive, and I would treat every dog as if they were my own.
