Unable to have a dog of my own, I channel all my love and care to other people's dogs. I work in a dog-friendly cafe and have the opportunity to meet and socialise with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. We have dog regulars that I know by name and offer treats and cuddles.

I feel I have an affinity for dogs as they do for me. For example, it is not the first time that a dog that doesn't want to be pet by strangers comes up to me and jumps up to me all paws and kisses.

Ideally, I would not leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I get the full day off from my job and stay with the dog. We would go for hour long walks and depending on size and age that would vary.

Proud ex-guardian of a now-gone nineteen-year-old fox terrier. My companion, Dolly was with us since I was 13 years old. I had wonderful times with her, filled with antics, running and quiet moments. Unfortunately, she has now passed, but she gave me beautiful moments, and I hope I gave her that too.

When it comes to dog sitting, I like to cuddle, play and walk with dogs. I'm an unexpectedly patient dog groomer, as I love giving them baths and combing their hair. I offer all of the above.

Very good in a crisis as well. I am very quick to spot something wrong or unusual, and tend to take action immediately. I like to put the dog's safety first at all times.

I offer dog walking, bathing, and administering medication by mouth.
