Hi! I’m Elgin, an Irish girl living in London and a huge animal lover. My family dog is back home in Dublin, and one of the things I miss most about being away is having a furry friend around - so I’d love to give some of that attention to London’s dogs instead!

I’ve grown up around dogs and am very comfortable caring for them, whether they’re energetic and need a proper walk or would rather take things slowly, sniff everything in sight and get plenty of attention along the way. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I’m always happy to follow whatever works best for yours.

I offer 30–60 minute dog walks and can also do drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I’m happy walking different breeds and sizes, although most of my experience is with small and medium-sized dogs.

Safety is really important to me. I’ll always follow your instructions on leads, harnesses and walking routes, keep dogs securely on-lead unless we’ve specifically agreed otherwise, and take care around roads, unfamiliar dogs and busy areas. I’m also happy to send you updates or photos so you know how they’re getting on.

Before a first booking, I’d like to know a little about your dog’s usual routine, temperament, recall, behaviour around other dogs and people, any medical conditions or allergies, and anything they’re particularly nervous of or reactive to. I’d also need your contact details, vet information and an emergency contact, just in case. If anything unexpected happened while your dog was with me, I’d prioritise getting them somewhere safe, contact you straight away and, if necessary, seek veterinary help.

I’m currently taking some time out after working in finance for the last four years, so I have good flexibility during the week, particularly for daytime walks and visits.

Most importantly, I know how much dogs are part of the family. I’d want someone looking after my dog at home in Dublin to be caring, responsible and genuinely excited to spend time with them - and that’s exactly how I’d look after yours. 🐶❤️
