My name’s Helen and I love animals. I have had pets since I was a child (namely cats, mice and a rabbit) and I adore both feline and canine company.

I offer care for cats and dogs in the form of home visits (1 hour), house-sitting and dog-walking. I can also look after rabbits, reptiles, fish, birds, gerbils, mice, guinea pigs and more. Will feed, change water, change litter, groom (if requested) and play with your cat. I have administered medication to cats before so can also do this. 

For house-sitting, I’m also happy to water plants, take in post and put out rubbish. I will treat your home with respect, keep it clean and ensure security by making sure doors and windows are locked.

I work from home as an artist, have a very flexible schedule and am highly experienced looking after cats and dogs, having done this for over 10 years.

Since I was a little girl, I have been around cats. We had a ginger tom called Paddy and a black cat called Sarah. Kajagoogoo joined us when we moved house followed by Lillie, who we raised from when she was a kitten. As an adult, I have looked after local cats in their own home over the years and as a result have made firm friends with Faisca, Spidey, Trippie, Boots, Rose, Tigger, Maggie and Leo.

I have recently welcomed my pale ginger kitten, Paddy, into my home and it has been the sweetest thing to have him here. 💗🐈

I found a love of looking after dogs 18 years ago while dog-sitting Lulu, a Jack Russell with an irresistibly tenacious character, for my next door neighbour. I took in Lulu many times over the years and developed a strong relationship with her.

Since then I have looked after lots of local dogs on a voluntary basis, some of whom you can see me with in my pictures. I like most breeds and enjoy the wide variety of characteristics you get in dogs as well as the unique interaction and relationship you develop with them.

I also volunteer at the Mayhew Animal Home and DBS checked.

Because I am a responsible, caring and nurturing person who loves dogs and cats, has the time to give your pets my full attention, and enjoy engaging with my local community, I would love to get to know your pets.
