I am a caring, responsible, and attentive individual with a genuine passion for animals, which is what motivates me to be a pet sitter. I truly enjoy being around pets and find it incredibly rewarding to provide them with comfort, companionship, and consistent care while their owners are away. I have always loved having a furry companion around, and during my time at university, I particularly missed having a family pet with me. This is what inspired me to start pet sitting regularly, as it allowed me to combine my love for animals with helping others and spending time with pets.

I have previous experience looking after both dogs and cats of all kinds, including boarding and active in-home pet sitting. My services include daily dog walks (typically 30–60 minutes depending on the pet’s needs), feeding routines, playtime, and maintaining a calm, structured environment. During house sitting, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to reduce stress, including morning and evening care, regular toilet breaks, enrichment activities, and companionship throughout the day. Pets will be left no longer than 5 hours alone.

I am confident in handling different behaviours, from high-energy or excitable pets to those who are shy, anxious, or require extra patience and reassurance. I always adapt my approach to suit each animal individually, using calm, consistent communication and positive reinforcement. I also have experience administering medication when required, carefully following instructions.

I have completed longer stays of up to four weeks, including while travelling in Australia, and throughout university I continued pet sitting whenever possible to fill the gap of missing my own family pet. I provide regular updates to owners, including messages and photos, so they can feel reassured that their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all animals in my care.
