Hi! I’m Madeline, a pet sitter based in Manchester city centre (M4). I love spending time with animals and would be more than happy to look after your furry family members while you’re away, at work or simply need someone to keep them company. 🤍

I’ve gained hands-on pet-sitting experience caring for cats and dogs with different personalities and routines. I’ve looked after shy cats who prefer their own space, affectionate pets who love attention and older dogs who need a little extra patience.

I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can be worrying, especially when it’s your first time using a pet sitter. That’s why I always take the time to understand their routines and make sure they’re comfortable with me.

🐱 Cat Sitting & Home Visits

I offer morning, afternoon and evening home visits, depending on your needs.

My experience includes caring for cats in multi-cat households, managing different feeding routines, cleaning litter trays and spending time with cats who need extra attention.

I understand that every cat is different. Some are incredibly affectionate and want to follow you everywhere, while others would rather hide under the bed until they’re comfortable with someone new!

I’m happy to spend extra time with cats who enjoy company, whether that means playing with their favourite toys, giving them cuddles or simply sitting nearby while they relax.

During each visit, I’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water and are comfortable. I’ll also send you photos and regular updates so you can enjoy your time away without worrying about them.

🐶 Dog Sitting & Longer Companion Visits

I also have experience caring for dogs, including older dogs who prefer a quieter routine.

I’m comfortable following their usual feeding schedules, taking them out for toilet breaks, spending time with them and making sure they receive the attention they need.

I particularly enjoy companion sitting, where I can stay with your dog for several hours while you’re at work, attending an event or enjoying an evening out.

If your dog struggles with being left alone, I’m happy to discuss longer sitting arrangements. I can bring my laptop and work quietly from your home while keeping your dog company, provided that this suits their needs.

I always prefer to meet dogs beforehand so I can understand their behaviour and make sure they’re comfortable around me.

🏡 House Sitting & Overnight Stays

I also offer house sitting and overnight stays in your home.

My availability is now more flexible, so I can accommodate daytime visits, longer sitting arrangements and selected overnight stays.

I’m comfortable following your pet’s normal household routine, including feeding, toilet breaks, bedtime arrangements and any other instructions you provide.

I also understand how important it is to respect someone else’s home. I’ll always treat your space with care, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure everything is left as I found it.

For longer stays, I’d appreciate discussing your pet’s usual routine beforehand, including how long they can comfortably be left alone if I need to pop out.

🕒 My Availability

My schedule is now much more flexible, which allows me to accommodate a wider range of pet-sitting requests.

I’m available for morning, afternoon and evening visits, as well as longer daytime sitting and selected overnight stays.

If you’re looking for someone to spend several hours with your pet rather than just popping in for a quick visit, I’m also happy to discuss that.

I understand that plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. If you need additional visits or last-minute care, feel free to message me and I’ll see whether I can accommodate your request.

I’m based in Manchester city centre (M4), so Ancoats, the Northern Quarter and surrounding areas are particularly convenient for me.

I’m also happy to travel further for longer sitting arrangements, depending on the location and booking requirements.

If you’re based a little further away but need someone to stay with your pet for several hours, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can discuss an arrangement that makes the journey worthwhile.

🤍 Meet & Greets

I always encourage arranging a meet-and-greet before your first booking whenever possible.

From my experience, meeting pets beforehand makes such a difference. It gives them an opportunity to get used to me and allows you to walk me through their routine in person.

I’m happy to discuss their feeding schedules, favourite toys, habits and any special requirements they might have.

I’ll also make sure to keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I know how lovely it is to receive a little update and see that your pet is happy and doing well.
