About Me and My Experience with Pets 🐾

I’ve had a cat since childhood, and animals have always been a very special part of my life. Back in my home country, I cared for different animals, including cats and dogs, and I also looked after my neighbours’ and friends’ dogs when they were away. These experiences have taught me how important patience, attention, affection, and responsibility are when caring for animals.

As an international student, spending time with animals brings me so much happiness and comfort. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, understanding their body language, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I believe every animal has its own way of expressing emotions, so I always try to understand and respect their individual needs, preferences, and routines.

My goal is to make every pet feel at home and ensure they receive the same love, care, and attention they would receive from their own family.

My Availability and Daily Routine

I’m currently a full-time university student and I’m not working, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m fully available on weekends, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tuesdays are my busiest university day, so I have less availability then.

I’m happy to discuss each pet’s specific needs and arrange a care routine that works best for both the pet and the owner.

I make sure pets are fed according to their usual schedule, generally two to three times a day depending on their individual needs, with fresh water always available. I also make time for playtime, walks for dogs, toilet breaks, cuddles, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I understand how important it is to maintain familiar routines so pets feel comfortable and settled while their owners are away.

Boarding and Daycare at My Home

I live alone in my home, so there are no other people or pets living with me. This allows me to provide a calm, comfortable environment where I can focus on your pet’s individual needs and give them plenty of attention.

I have a comfortable pet bed available, but I’m also happy for pets to relax on the sofa or sleep on my bed if that’s what they’re used to at home and their owners are comfortable with it. I want every pet to feel welcome and relaxed, just as they would in their own home.

For overnight boarding, you can feel reassured that I will be there to provide companionship, care, and attention throughout your pet’s stay. I will not leave your pet alone overnight, and I’ll do my best to maintain their normal sleeping, feeding, and exercise routines.

For daycare, I can provide companionship, playtime, regular meals according to their usual schedule, toilet breaks, and walks for dogs. I want pets to feel comfortable rather than stressed, so I always take the time to help them settle into a new environment at their own pace.

I understand that leaving your pet with someone new requires trust, and I’m happy to communicate with owners and provide updates so they can feel reassured while they’re away.

Dog Walking and Favourite Locations

I enjoy taking dogs for walks and making sure they get the exercise, fresh air, and stimulation they need. Walks are planned according to each dog’s age, energy level, personality, and usual routine.

Walk duration can be adjusted to suit your dog’s needs and your preferences, whether they enjoy shorter, relaxed walks or longer outings with more exercise.

I’m based around Deansgate in Manchester city centre, and my usual walking locations include nearby parks and suitable, safe areas along the canal. I also enjoy walking dogs at Hulme Park and Whitworth Park.

The walking location is flexible and can be arranged according to the owner’s preferences, the dog’s temperament, and what makes them feel most comfortable and safe. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s favourite routes and usual walking routine before their stay.

For cats and other pets, I provide appropriate playtime, enrichment, affection, and attention according to their individual needs.

Exercise, Supervision, and Safety

Your pet’s safety will always be one of my top priorities. I take care to keep doors and windows secure, remain attentive when entering or leaving the home, and keep dogs securely leashed during walks. I also choose suitable walking routes and adjust activities according to the weather, the dog’s energy level, and their individual needs.

If caring for more than one pet, I would introduce them carefully and keep them in separate spaces when necessary, especially during feeding or if they need time to feel comfortable around each other. I would only take on the number of pets I can comfortably care for while giving each one the attention they deserve.

I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, toilet breaks, and any special requirements.

Please note that I do not administer medication to pets, so I’m best suited to caring for animals that do not require medication to be given during their stay or visit.

I’m a caring, patient, and responsible person who will treat your pet as if they were my own. Having grown up with animals, I understand how much love we have for our companions and how important it is to find someone trustworthy to look after them.

Whether your pet needs daytime companionship, overnight boarding, playtime, or enjoyable walks, I want to make sure they feel happy, relaxed, safe, and loved throughout their time with me.

My apartment building is pet-friendly, so pets are welcome in my living environment. I want to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space where your pet can feel at home and enjoy their stay with me.

Your pet will never be just another booking to me. I’ll do my best to understand their personality, respect their routines, and give them the care and affection they deserve. My aim is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning.
