Hi there, thanks for taking time to read this. I'm Caroline and having owned cats for most of my life I think it's fair to call me a cat lady! I've handled a lot of different personalities and temprements, from the shy and timid to the sassy and boisterous. I know each cat is very much an individual! I have cared for my own cats and those belonging to friends, family and neighbours over the years. I've taken in a fair share of rescue cats and taken great pride in giving a loving home to cats who might not have always had the best start. I am very trustworthy, thoughful, kind and reliable - I wouldn't let your cat down (or you haha). 

Even though cats are my speciality I have had dogs in the past too (and a few hamsters and guinea pigs!), I would be happy to consider smaller dogs and other pets - feel free to get in touch for a chat if you have a different animal you would like me to provide checks / feeding / toileting for.

I am skilled at handling even the scratchiest of kitties with care and confidence and have experience of adminstering medication which I usually crush up and add to food. I will listen carefully to your instructions though and am naturally happy to take your lead and advice - you know your cat better than anyone. I understand some cats can be anxious around a stranger and would never attempt to handle a cat if they seemed wary and timid, unless it was an emergency. I know a cat's body language well and can tell if they want to be sociable or be left well alone!

I am experienced also at handling poorly cats and not in the least bit squeemish (I clean up cat sick on a regular basis haha). If I felt the cat was unwell I would contact you in the first instance then call the vet if needs be. I alway like to keep in touch with people while you were away and sending regular photos and videos so you can be assured your pet is happy, well fed and safe. I know it can be worrying leaving your pet when they are like a memeber of your family.

I am offering 30 minute house visits where I will feed, water, clean litter trays, give some company (and vac up if you want me to). I've also just started a pet care course on NextGen Learning to give me a more rounded base of knowledge on things such as emergency care.

I'm based in Mirfield and happy to travel a few miles out!
