Dianne and I have been house sitting and looking after pets for a few years now mostly in the U.K. but as we travel widely and have sons and Grandson living in Australia we figured we would love to look after pets and houses in the antipodes. We love travelling it's been a big part of our life we love meeting new people and experiencing new neighbourhoods and cultures and really appreciate and enjoy new environments. Needless to say we love animals so to be able to meet new characters in the animal world and care for them and get to know them would be a bonus to travelling.

We enjoy our home here in England and especially our garden and maintaining and keeping the house and gardens in good shape, but it's nice to be able to lock our home up and explore somewhere new.

Yet in our mid sixties we still have the eagerness and desire to explore the world be it close to home or far away, and in doing so hopefully help other folk out and even better meet and get to know new people and their treasured pets

and homes!

We

have house sat many times now and done lots of repeat sits for people and their pets, and met some lovely families.

In addition to often house sitting and looking after friends and family houses and their pets, when they have gone on vacation.

We find

It allows the owners to be more content and relaxed in the knowledge their home is being looked after by considerate non-smoking and careful folk and the house can remain more secure.

Those with pets avoid their beloved animals going into kennels and allows them to feel

more content, by staying in their own environment and being loved and cared for in their owners absence.

Also, having travelled so much, we are pretty quick at adjusting to a new environment, in fact we revel in exploring new horizons and learning about new neighbourhoods and cultures.

We have cared for donkeys, dogs,cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep to name a few and always learning new husbandry that is the joy of life!
