I’m available over the summer for pet sitting in your home or mine, as well as dog walking.

Pet sitting includes feeding, fresh water, company, photo updates, walks/toilet breaks, and following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Dog walks can be adjusted depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs, and I’m happy to discuss 30-minute or longer walks.

I’m a huge animal lover and will care for your pets with patience, attention, and kindness. I’m currently on a break from university while transitioning from my BSc to a master’s degree. I studied Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, so animal care, behaviour, and wellbeing are things I genuinely care about.

I’m happy to care for dogs, cats, chameleons, parrots, chickens, hedgehogs, snakes, and other small or exotic pets, depending on their routine and care needs.

My summer schedule is currently flexible, so I can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. If I am boarding pets in my home, I will make sure they are not left alone for long periods and will discuss this with you beforehand based on your pet’s routine and comfort level.

For boarding in my home, pets will have a safe, calm, and comfortable space to rest and sleep. I will follow your instructions on where your pet usually sleeps, whether that is a bed, crate, carrier, or quiet area. If needed, pets can be kept separate from other animals to help them feel safe and relaxed.

A typical day would include feeding and fresh water, toilet breaks, walks where needed, playtime or quiet company, photo updates, and keeping your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. I will always follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

For first-time bookings, I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can feel comfortable. This is also a good chance to discuss routines, feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, personality, and any important safety details.

I do not offer medication administration, training, or behavioural rehabilitation, but I will always follow clear care instructions and keep pets safe and comfortable. If there is ever an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions, including contacting your chosen vet if needed.
