I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life — dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even the occasional rescue who needed a bit of extra love. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of who I am. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pets whenever they travelled or needed support, and looking after their animals has always been something I genuinely enjoyed. I also have a rescue dog of my own, Sandy, who has taught me so much about patience, gentleness, and understanding different personalities. Living with a rescue means learning how to build trust slowly, create a calm environment, and recognise the small signs that a pet is feeling unsure or needs reassurance. This helps me connect well with nervous, shy, or sensitive animals in a steady, kind way. In terms of practical care, my drop‑in visits typically last 30–60 minutes depending on what your pet needs. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely — feeding times, playtime, litter cleaning, toilet breaks, and any small habits that help them feel secure. I can also give oral medication if required. I always send photo and message updates during each visit or stay, so owners know exactly how their pets are doing. During overnight pet sitting, I stay in your home to maintain your pet’s routine, keep things tidy, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I’m DBS‑checked and pet first aid certified, and I take pride in offering calm, reliable, and loving care. Whether it’s drop‑ins, companionship, feeding, or overnight stays, I treat every pet as if they were my own — with kindness, routine, and genuine affection. My goal is to make pets feel safe and owners feel completely at ease while they’re away.
