Hi, I’m Kelly, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our family dogs were always at the heart of our home — I learned early on how to read their moods, respect their boundaries, and give them the kind of care that makes tails wag. That childhood passion grew so deep that I went on to complete a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, turning my love for animals into a professional understanding of how they think, learn, and feel.

I bring 7 years of hands-on experience caring for other people’s dogs, alongside training in pet first aid. I’ve trained a family member’s dog to Silver level Kennel Club standard, worked with dogs outside my family on obedience and behaviour, and have experience with agility training too. I specialise in puppy training — successfully guiding little ones through house training, crate training, and both basic and complex commands with patience and positive reinforcement.

What I offer:

🏡 Dog Boarding (in my home): A true home-from-home experience. I’m at home most of the day, every day — never leaving your dog alone for long stretches. My home has a good-sized, fully enclosed garden for running, playing, or just sunbathing. Includes regular walks in quiet local areas near Street, playtime, cuddles, constant access to water, feeding to your exact schedule, a comfortable rest area with their own bed and blankets from home, and photo/video updates throughout their stay.

🚶 Dog Walking: 30 or 60 minute solo walks only (unless you specifically request group walks), with my full attention at all times. I adapt the pace and style to your dog’s age and temperament — gentle sniff walks for seniors or nervous dogs, more energetic strolls for playful pups. I always carry water, poo bags, and a pet first aid kit.

🏠 Drop-In Visits: Keeping your dog in their own familiar environment. I follow your exact routine for feeding, exercise, play, and medication. Drop-ins include quality time, play, garden access, and photo updates.

What pets I care for:

I specialise in dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments — from bouncy puppies to gentle seniors, and including nervous or anxious dogs who need extra patience and understanding. My animal behaviour & welfare background means I’m well-equipped to support dogs who need a little extra care.
