I've had animals my whole life, including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and goldfish. I’ve also cared for rescue animals that had been neglected or mistreated, which taught me the importance of patience, kindness and building trust. I currently have three cats: Olly, 10, Molly, 5, and Nova, 12 weeks old. They all have very different personalities, which has taught me how important it is to understand each animal’s individual needs. Some love cuddles and attention, while others prefer their own space. I enjoy getting to know each animal and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I believe building trust takes time, patience and consistency. I always let animals settle at their own pace and learn what makes them feel happy and secure. I also trained my Labrador to sit and give his paw using positive reinforcement, patience and treats. I’m very observant and quick to notice when an animal isn’t acting normally. When my cat Jimmy became unwell, I recognised the signs quickly and took him straight to the vet. Sadly, he couldn’t be saved, but I was grateful I acted quickly. I’ve also noticed changes in my current cats’ behaviour that led to them receiving the surgery and treatment they needed. I take pride in understanding each animal’s personality, routine and preferences. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved and relaxed while giving their owners complete peace of mind that they are receiving the best possible care. im DBS checked & I did a emergency animal care course
