Hi! I’m Kseniia.

Originally, I’m from Ukraine, and I moved to the UK four years ago. Back home, I had my wonderful pug, Aya, who completely stole my heart and made me fall in love with dogs even more.

Over the years I became part of a lovely local dog community, where friends regularly looked after each other’s pets whenever someone travelled or needed an extra helping hand. I was often trusted to care for pugs, corgis, dachshunds, French Bulldogs and Shiba Inus, sometimes for several weeks at a time. The busiest (and definitely funniest!) time was when I had my own pug plus three other pugs and a corgi staying together. It was wonderfully chaotic, and I loved every minute of it.

Before Aya, I also had three cats, so I’m very comfortable around both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has its own personality and routine.

I always believed that being a good dog owner starts with educating yourself, not just your dog. That’s why I attended training sessions with a professional dog trainer to better understand canine behaviour, communication and positive reinforcement. While I’m not a trainer myself, this gave me a solid understanding of how to recognise stress signals, respect boundaries and help dogs feel comfortable and secure.

After the war began in Ukraine, I moved to the UK in 2022. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own here, which I miss every day. Thankfully, my partner has a wonderful German Shepherd, and his parents also have a lovely 13-year-old German Shepherd who often stays with me when they need help. Spending time with them reminds me how much joy animals bring into my life.

At the moment I offer dog walking and short home visits. I’m happy to take your dog for a 30-60 minute walk, depending on their usual routine and energy level, or spend a few hours with your dog or cat in your home while you’re at work, out for the day or have other commitments. During home visits I’m happy to feed them, refresh their water, play with them, keep them company and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I’ll also happily send photo updates so you know your pet is having a lovely time.

I don’t offer boarding in my own home, overnight stays or pet transport, but I’ll always care for your pets with the same patience, kindness and attention that I’d want for my own.
