I have recently moved back to the UK from New Zealand, where I was a dance movement therapist specialising in P.T.S.D. and trauma related challenges for women and children both clinically and in the education system. In between sessions I would dog walk for friends and friends of friends as well as cat sit. The attunement and care is not too disimilar for both animals and humans! Empathy, kindness and reading the needs of your pet is such a beautiful part of the developing relationship. On first meeting, my gentle, slow approach helps to regulate the nervous system of the each pet whilst maintaining a confident, boundaried demeanour when out walking helps them to feel assured and happy. I love all animals and this gives me the opportunity to support people with a safe pair of hands whilst you are away. Knowing that your furry family member will be cared for and adapted to whilst following the your wishes is all part of the service. Happy to adminster medication and offer photo/video updates daily for your peace of mind. Open to phone calls to see if we are a good match!
