I’m a friendly, dependable pet sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for others' cats and dogs. I love being outdoors but I’m equally happy with a cosy night in, which makes pet sitting a perfect fit for me. I don’t currently have pets of my own (although I’m hoping to later this year :) ), so pet sitting is a brilliant way for me to spend time with animals I adore and give them plenty of attention. Unless they live together I won't walk 2 dogs together. I know local emergency vet surgeries if required and will ask you for contact details of your own vet.

I’m a keen walker and get out daily, often heading towards Bushy Park or Richmond and parks inbetween, so dogs in my care get lots of fresh air and sniff time. Over the years I’ve looked after all sorts, from Jack Russells to Labradors, and from tiny newborn kittens requiring regular feeding to the wonderfully chunky British Shorthairs, Eric and Geoffrey.

I’m available on weekdays and weekends. Dog walking is available at any time of day within one mile of Strawberry Hill, and I’m happy to travel up to five miles for longer stays or visits. I can also accommodate pets in my flat, which has a great little outdoor area for bathroom breaks. When it comes to hosting dogs, I like to make sure it’s the right fit, particularly around health, training and noise levels so please do not assume guaranteed placement for dog boarding. I'm in the process of getting pet first aid qualified.

Because I don’t have pets of my own, your animal will have my full focus. I take instructions very seriously and always aim to keep routines familiar, calm and stress free. I will dog walk for however long you say is appropriate for your dog - different dog, different needs - so will take the lead from you but aim for circa 1 hour. References are available on request.
