Hi, I’m Patrick! I’m 30 years old and live in Kenley. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and have grown up surrounded by pets from a young age. My family rescued our childhood dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, and he was part of our lives for 17 wonderful years. We now have Rex, a gentle black Labrador and Rottweiler mix who loves the beach, swimming, countryside walks and making friends with everyone he meets. I’ve also had five cats over the years, so I understand the different personalities, needs and companionship that make every pet special. My Experience and Motivation Having grown up with dogs and cats, I understand how important pets are to their families and the special bond we share with them. I’ve also looked after friends’ pets while they’ve been away on holiday, sometimes for several days or a week at a time. My motivation for pet sitting comes from the enjoyment I get from spending time with animals, getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I would treat every animal in my care with the same kindness, patience and attention I would give my own. Services I Offer I’m happy to discuss your individual pet care needs, including: Dog walking: Providing walks, exercise and outdoor adventures suited to your dog’s needs and energy levels. Home visits: Spending quality time with your pets, providing food and fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime and companionship. Cat care: Feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays and giving your cat attention and affection at their own pace. Pet sitting: Caring for your pets in their familiar surroundings, with longer stays at your home available to discuss. My usual home visits last around 45–60 minutes, allowing plenty of time to attend to your pet’s needs rather than simply popping in and out. I’m happy to follow your instructions and established routines to help your pets feel comfortable while you’re away. My Availability I work Monday to Friday in an office-based role, with two to three days a week working from home. On office days, I’m generally out from around 7:30 am until 5–6 pm. I can be flexible with dates and timings depending on my work commitments, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss what you need. I live in a flat but am happy to travel within reason and can discuss looking after your pets in your own home where appropriate. Keeping You Updated I understand that leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires trust and peace of mind. I’m happy to send regular messages and photos so you can see how your pets are getting on while you’re away. The frequency of updates can be agreed with you beforehand, whether you prefer a quick message after each visit or updates at particular times. I want you to feel reassured and confident that your pets are receiving the care and attention they deserve. I’d also welcome the opportunity to meet you and your pets before arranging a booking.
