My Motivation & Passion

Caring for animals has always been a central part of my life, and my motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a desire to provide a stress-free alternative for pets who don't thrive in group environments. I know firsthand how overwhelmingly busy pack walks or crowded catteries can be for certain personalities. I want to give Wokingham owners total peace of mind by offering an exclusive, calm, one-on-one service where their pet is my absolute, undivided priority.

My Previous Experience

My experience with animals spans many years of personal dedication. I had three dogs in the past, and I took care of them at every stage of life, from energetic puppyhood to gentle senior care. Today, I am a devoted cat owner, which has given me a deep understanding of feline routines, independent personalities, and the subtle body language cats use to communicate.

To back up my hands-on experience with professional knowledge, I am fully qualified in pet safety. I am vet-trained through Animal Love UK, holding formal certifications in both Canine and Feline Health, Emergency First Aid, and CPR. I am also Enhanced DBS checked and fully insured to ensure the highest standards of trust and security.

My Availability

I operate a highly structured and reliable daily routine to ensure I am never rushed during a visit:

• Morning (07:30 - 09:30): Dedicated to morning cat sitting visits and breakfast pop-ins.
• Midday (10:30 - 14:30): Exclusively reserved for premium, 1-to-1 dog walking slots.
• Late Afternoon/Evening (16:30 - 18:30): Available for dinner-time cat sitting.

Adapting to Pet Personalities

Because no two animals are the same, I adapt my approach to suit your pet's unique temperament. For energetic or high-drive dogs, I incorporate mental stimulation such as "sniffaris" and puzzle games. For nervous rescues or senior pets, I slow the pace entirely, using low-stress handling and gentle reassurance. For shy cats, I never force interaction; instead, I sit quietly at their level, allowing them to approach me on their own terms while managing their feeding and environment with zero pressure.

How I Handle Emergencies

Safety is the foundation of my service. In a real-world emergency, my vet-led first-aid training enables me to stabilise an animal while remaining calm. My strict protocol is to contact you instantly while safely transporting your pet in my vehicle to your preferred local Wokingham vet practice.

What's included: A 45-minute walk tailored entirely to your dog's pace—ideal for nervous rescues, seniors, or puppies. Every session includes a thorough towel-dry for muddy paws, a fresh water top-up, and a detailed photo 'pupdate' sent straight to your phone. 

🐈 Stress-Free In-Home Cat Sitting 

What's included: 1 30-minute visit or 2 20-minute visits featuring fresh food and water, thorough litter box maintenance, and dedicated playtime. You will receive a daily/twice photo 'mewpdate' so you can relax knowing they are safe and settled.
