Hi there! I'm Summer, and I've loved being around and caring for animals since a very young age. Overtime, I've learned to adjust to different ages and sizes of pets also. Growing up, I've had two cats (one still!) named Oreo and Mittens, and I love them dearly. I do not have professional experience with pet care aside from sitting my friend's dogs and on occasion others.

Regarding my services, I am flexible with hours and am willing to stay and care for your pet for prolonged amounts of time including staying with the pet for more than a day. I am also able to make brief visits to the pet when needed!

When with your pet, I will give them my full attention and make sure to fulfil their needs where necessary. In the past with particularly dogs, I have usually sat down with them for a bit before they want something, as it gives them reassurance and comfort at a person's presence. I am willing to clean any messes the pet leaves, like litter cleaning or a spillage, etc. I am also more than happy to play with your pet whenever they'd like to.

I am experienced in dealing with shy or anxious animals as my friend's dog was often scared of me for my first few visits. I often encourage them firstly with a treat and avoid touching them in any way, that's for them to do when they're comfortable. I sit with them for a bit to allow them to adjust to the sight of a new carer and talk to them as I've found that can help them build a trust in you. I am eager to learn and therefore willing to care for any sort of pet also, as detailed in my profile!!
