I started working with animals in 1979 when I left school and went to the local cat and dog shelter.I worked there for 2 years,learning about taking care of dogs and cats in a kennel situation.I left to go and work for a vets,where I learned about taking care of animals that were sick or injured(and taking home my fair share!).After 2 years I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and stayed in that profession until 2000.I moved to Dover but health problems sadly meant I had to give up that job.

Over the years I have had several cats.I lost my last one in 2010 and am unable to have any more so I get my cat fix second hand.

Of course I love dogs too but mobility problems mean that I can't take care of large or young dogs that need a lot of exercise.

I am available to do house visits and for day or overnight care including administration of medication if necessary.

I don't have the opportunity to interact with animals much these days which is why I love to petsit whenever I can.

I have been working with Pawshake for almost 2 years now and looked after several cats some of who have become regulars but I am always ready to meet a new furry face.
