Hello! My name is Emily and I’m a university student who loves all things animal. I’m currently home for the holidays so I’m looking for a way to get out of the house and see some pets at the same time! I’ve loved animals ever since I knew what they were, and I begged my parents for a dog since I could talk. They decided we’d start with fish, which then progressed to a family dog and in total 2 hamsters and 4 gerbils that were all mine! We lost our dog last year so I’m in desperate need of some doggy love.

I offer doggy day care in my house, a terraced house with a spacious garden, dog walks, home visits and house sitting. For day care in my house the dog will be downstairs with me in the rooms pictured, and will have plenty of supervised playtime in the garden (also pictured) as well. The garden is fully fenced off with a locked gate at the back. For dog walks I will do as long as you and your dog need, most likely up to an hour but I'm willing to do more or less as you see fit. For home visits I'll pop into your house and stay with your pet for as long as needed, for a play, a trip to the garden or a nearby grassy patch and to fill up any food and water. I can do this once or twice a day.

I have experience in the daily care of dogs (and fish, hamsters and gerbils) as well as cat care as I have looked after my neighbours cat on multiple occasions when she goes on holiday.

I will be able to be with your pet as long as needed and they will have my undivided attention. I have experience giving oral medication to my own dog and am willing to learn exactly what your pet needs. I may be able to pick up and drop off your pet, but this will be confirmed nearer the date. I am always happy to take your pet on the bus though as long as that is ok with you and your pet!
