I'm a retired teacher and love animals so it was a natural step for me to look after pets. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, a snake and many stick insects myself so I know how a little help is needed and appreciated sometimes. I gained a qualification in animal care especially in dog walking and cat sitting. Although I've looked after rabbits, Guinea pigs and a pig. Also I have a passion for reptiles and have kept snakes since 1998. I have also kept fish, mice, rats, budgies and parrots (not all at the same time). No animal is too big or too small. I did work in a rescue centre that had donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, hedgehogs and owls although not much call for those skills in Solihull. I've looked after other people pets since 2000 when I looked after my friend's 4 cats, I learn what the animal wants and adapt. Even if that's me sitting on the edge of the sofa.
