I am a qualified cat behaviourist and have over 10 years experience as a cat sitter.

I have had cats all my life and have been fascinated by them ever since I was a child. My current cat has lived with me for over 12 years now and he has trained me to the highest standard ;)

Since becoming a cat sitter and cat behaviourist I’ve learned even more about cats and their behaviour. I absolutely love all of my clients’ cats (my husband likes to joke I have at least 100 cats in my top 5). I really enjoy getting to know them and finding out more about their characters, from playing fetch or chasing the laser pointer to cuddling and brushing. They all have their unique personalities.

While you are away, I am the only person your cat will see all day. So it's important to give them cuddles or play with them depending on what they want to do. I normally spend around 30 minutes with the cats I'm visiting (unless they are on an adventure outdoors and not coming in when called).

I keep a record of each cat's behaviour during visits and I carefully monitor eating and litter behaviour as well as their normal play or cuddle behaviour. 

When I'm away I miss my cat terribly so I know how you feel about leaving your cat(s). I'm happy to send you pictures and updates while you are away.
