Hi! My name is Lydia, I'm 24 years old and I have just moved back to my hometown of Stamford after 3 years working in London at the Ministry of Defence. I have two rescue cats, Lucie and Bernie. Lucie is a sassy, curvy lady and Bernie is a blind ginger boy. I also have a cheeky and hyper rescue Yorkie called Tobie.

I grew up around cats and dogs and am totally animal mad - on foreign holidays I'm usually found sneaking off to feed stray animals and turning our villas into temporary rescue shelters!

My dream is to eventually work rehoming and rescuing animals - but for now I get great joy out of looking after other people's pets whilst they are away.

Because I am a pet owner myself, I realise the importance of finding someone that you trust to look after your four legged friend, but also someone that will give them play and fuss (with cats - on their terms!) so they don't get too lonely in your absence. Whether your pet is mature or a young whipper snapper - I can provide unlimited cuddles and tickles, a bit of play, a comforting presence and for dogs - long walks and plenty of of exercise.

When petsitting I will also, of course, refresh your feline/canine friend's water, top up their food (tailored to their dietary needs) and attend to their litter tray/let them out for a run around if required. I am able to administer medication through food intake if need be, and I can also water plants, collect post, feed fish, turn lights on and off and any other security measures that will help you feel at ease away from your home for no extra charge.
