Hi! I'm Jenny, an experienced cat owner and catsitter/NHS professional providing cat sitting in your own home. I'm able to take bookings in the southside and west end of Glasgow.

Please note I'm now able to provide cat boarding for up to 2 cats in my own home, which is a pet and smoke free household, with lots of light, windowsills, excellent nap spots, toys, cat trees and a lovely outlook of trees and birds to monitor during the day! I very much miss having my own cat resident since her recent relocation to live with family locally so rest assured your wee one gets more than their fair share of attention and company- please do get in touch if this is a service that would work well for you. My weekly and weekend routines tend to be very consistent, and I am able spend as much time as needed to help cats fully relax and acclimatise to their new surroundings, which they tend to love! I'm very experienced with acclimatising and introducing cats.

I know how important it is for your cat to feel safe, secure and happy whilst you are away and know that familiarity and routine are so important so follow their routine as much as possible. 

For home visits, I spend half an hour to an hour per visit for snuggles and play along with their meals, litter, water and medication.

I know how worrying it can be being away from your pet so will provide daily updates to let you know how your wee one is getting on on their staycation. I know how much I miss my cat when I am away so with me there is no such thing as too many photos! 

I have experience with rescue cats, timid cats, cats with behavioural difficulties, medical conditions and multicat households so am always aware that each cat has its own needs and quirks. I'm able to administer oral medication. My day job is in the NHS and I have been there for 10 years; caring is my job.

I have a car so of course am able and happy to take your cat to their vet should the need ever arise.

As well as all the basics of course I will water plants/take out bins etc whilst you are away, just let me know!
