Hello 

I'm Kate. I am 35 years old. I live on a large houseboat with my partner Julian on the River Lea in Hertfordshire. We move every couple of weeks but are usually around Hertford area or up towards Roydon. We often have dogs visit us and enjoy taking them for walks in the vast nature that surrounds our home. 

After working as a nurse for the last 17 years, I am taking a break and want to focus my care and love to dogs instead. 

I am a huge dog lover and have been since I was young. I grew up with our family staffie who was my best friend and loving companion. I also had horses, rabbits, cats and other small animals. 

As a young adult I owned a staffie x English bull terrier and a French bulldog, they were rescue dogs, they were my babies and I loved them a lot. We enjoyed lots of long walks, playing and cuddles together. I had a horse and the dogs loved spending time at the farm with me and the other animals there.

Over the past few of years I haven't had a dog of my own as I have spent some time travelling. I have been working as a nurse and holistic therapist and been a dog sitter part time too. I am a yoga and meditation teacher so I offer a calm environment on the boat for your dog. 

I have all clear, up to date CRB checks and I can administer medications to your dog if needed. 

I am experienced in looking after other people's dogs and taking care of their needs, I have some regulars that I love and take care of. Now that I am taking a break from nursing I have time to take care of more dogs. So I’ve signed up here to see if anyone else in the area would like my services :)
