Hi, I’m Rachael.

I offer dog walking and pet drop-in visits, either on an ad-hoc basis while owners are away or as part of a regular routine.

I have more than 15 years’ hands-on experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and guinea pigs. I’m confident handling different temperaments and understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences and needs. I take a calm, sensible approach, whether a dog is energetic and excitable or needs a little more patience and reassurance. I also have experience with rescues, working breeds and high-energy dogs.

For drop-in visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, companionship, playtime and other agreed care requirements, including medication where needed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine closely, as I know consistency helps animals feel settled and secure.

For walks, I focus on safe, controlled handling and tailoring the walk to your dog’s age, energy level and temperament. I pay close attention to behaviour, comfort and surroundings, and I will always put your dog’s safety first.

I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and accessing your home. I am reliable, respectful and take that responsibility seriously. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m happy to provide regular updates after walks or visits for peace of mind.

If there are any concerns during a visit or walk, I will contact you promptly and follow your instructions, and I will always act calmly and responsibly in your pet’s best interests.

My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, settled and well cared for while you’re away.
