I absolutely love being around animals. I grew up with a cat at home who was the same age as me, spent many happy times looking after/petsitting my uncles' dogs (a Viszla and a Boxer), and for the last 5 years have been sharing my life with my dear male tabby cat, Henry , who I have looked after since he was a kitten. I love connecting with an animal and building trust and companionship, as much as I love playing with a pet, providing stimulation and joy , alongside making sure they are safe, healthy and well fed . I love taking a dog for a walk as much as I enjoy playing with a sparky cat, or simply providing some calm pets and company . I'm very comfortable administering medications. I feel that I am a good communicator, reliable and flexible. Animals have given so so much to me , and I look forward to being able to give back to them (and their dear human guardians!).
