I want to be a pet sitter to provide others with a sense of peace when leaving their animals at home. Additionally, I am studying BioVeterinary (Domestic animal / livestock care with a focus on nutrition, anatomy and behaviour) and feel pet sitting would be a valuable way to apply my education. I have had two cats, and had three neighbours cats that my family became very involved in the lives in. I have looked after friend's dogs before, one of which has had very little training and is rather rambunctious in his actions. This is all informal work, for friends of parents, however I adore spending time with animals, and am very good at following owner given instructions to the letter. My current cat has a few medical issues that I have helped take care of, so I would be comfortable checking in on / feeding animals with more complex medical backgrounds. I am looking to go to others houses and spend time with the animals there or walk and return the animals to their current home - the house I am in is not geared towards additional animals.
