I have two rescue cats aged 16 and 17 and I have always preferred to leave them with a sitter rather than a cattery as they seem more settled this way. I have recently moved to Newbury and I know there is a need for cat sitters so I thought that registering to do so myself would be a great way to get to know my new town and neighbours and help looking after their cat friends while they are away. Having two cats with very different personalities and needs and being a very sensible and careful cat owner will help me understand your cat's needs and ensure you have a relaxing holiday or time away. I am happy to send lots of pics and updates as well if you wish. I have a full clean driving license which will enable me to get to remote locations not easily accessible by public transport.

I will ensure that their usual routine and feeding schedule is followed during every visit and any other needs such as brushing, cleaning their beds, litter trays etc, as well as giving them lots of attention based on their temperament. I also love plants and I will be happy to water your indoor and outdoor plants and any light housework that will help you while you are away such as take the bins out, collect the post, open and close blinds etc for security, and wash up that last mug left on the side, or hung that forgotten laundry load left in the washing machine while you left in a hurry to go in your well deserved holiday so long as I can fit it in the time booked. 

In the unlikely event that your cat needs taken to the vet during your absence, I will be happy to drive them to their ususal vet or to ring your online insurance vet to have them assesed first.
