"Emily did a brilliant job looking after our two dogs. She came to meet them before we confirmed the booking and again to take them for a walk, and they seemed to take to her calm nature immediately. She gave us regular daily updates, which really helped put our minds at ease while we were away, and she didn’t mind putting up with all their little habits! We came home to two very happy and content doggies. We would highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a dog sitter."

"Emily was our great surprise! Our regular sitter was busy, so we decided to try someone new. When we first met her, we noticed she was calm and very attentive to all the little quirks we mentioned about our dog — and about me too, since I wanted daily updates. She didn't just pay attention, she delivered more than we expected! She was so good with them that even our cat, who's social but NOT a lap cat, ended up on her lap. When we saw the picture, we knew we'd made the right choice! We told her she didn't need to walk our dog if she played with him instead, since he can be a bit difficult (still a little anti-social with other dogs). She walked him every day anyway and handled him beautifully, even in the tricky moments. And of course, we always pay close attention to how our babies are when we get back — they were calm and peaceful. Our dog even missed her afterward, just like he does whenever someone he loves leaves the house. Do yourself a favor and book Emily — your pets will thank you. "

"Kathleen is a wonderful sitter. Her kindness and calm shine through and she was thorough in all that she did during her stay. Kathleen arrived on time to the minute on her first day. Having visited prior to sitting for us, our dog was delighted to see her again as were we. She was meticulous in checking the information we’d written down and raised questions for anything we hadn’t clarified. Throughout her stay, Kathleen kept us up to date with photos of the pets and always responded quickly to messages. She was fastidious in ensuring our dog was walked in the coolest part of the day during the heatwave. Kathleen brushed our pets while she was caring for them, including daily grooming for our long-haired cat. Meal times with our pets can be frenzied and Kathleen managed this with aplomb On our return the house was super clean and tidy. We very much hope Kathleen will sit for us again."

"Rebecca was amazing with our dog. She was friendly, punctual, provided daily updates, and let us know if there were any issues. Our dog isn’t the easiest breed and has some unique traits, and Rebecca handled her very well. Our dog was well cared for, and I would definitely recommend Rebecca for house sitting 😊🐾🐕🦴🥰"

"Diana took care of our cat Chandler doing house sitting and it has been the best experience we have had! Constant communication and you could tell Chandler had the best time with her on the pictures and videos shared. Diana is the most respectful, genuine and caring person and you can just tell she loves what she do. We are nothing but overly satisfied with this experience. Thank you Diana!"

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Abbots Langley home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Abbots Langley.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Abbots Langley home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Abbots Langley on Pawshake. Over 2970 pet owners in Abbots Langley have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
