"Ilma is a real dog and cat whisperer.
Her profile is spot on. She is incredibly patient, calm and clearly has a natural connection with animals. We had an initial meet-and-greet before the booking, and both our dog and cat warmed to her immediately.
When Ilma arrived on her own for the first time, our dog was completely comfortable with her within minutes, which is very unusual for him. Even our cat, who can be selective about new people, came out straight away for attention and cuddles.
Ilma also took wonderful care of our gerbils, giving them the same attention and consideration as our larger pets. It meant a lot to us that she never overlooked them just because they are small.
Throughout her stay, she was reliable, caring and professional, and it was obvious that our animals felt safe and happy in her company. Knowing they were in such capable hands gave us complete peace of mind.
I would not hesitate to recommend Ilma to anyone looking for someone truly exceptional to care for their pets."

"Courtney was absolutely wonderful. She looked after our two cats for three nights and took such great care of both them and our home. She sent us photos and updates every day, which was really lovely and gave us peace of mind knowing the cats were happy and well looked after.
When we came back, both cats were happy and relaxed, and the house was left very clean and tidy. We’re so pleased with the care Courtney provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful cat sitter. We’d happily have her look after our cats again."

"We had 2 weeks holiday and we left Athos and Lumi with Joe all this time. We received dayli info about them. Pics, videos and updates. On our return we found them both better than ever. The house in perfectly order, everything clean. We couldn't thank Joe enough for her care to Lumi and Athos. Words can not fully describe how happy we are that we had Joe looking for Athos and Lumi. "First time using Pawshake, but if Jess is anything to go by I will certainly be using them (her) again. I was a little nervous about a totaly stranger staying in my house but Jess made me feel comfortable and my dogs (and the cat) seemed to love her. She took to their routines easily and it was easy to see she would cope. I can't recommend Jess highly enough (but not too high as I want her again). Thanks Jess you made the whole experience! Doug."

"It was our first time getting a cat/house sitter for our 2 cats - a former stray and her daughter. One of them has recently developed anxiety when we go away overnight (even with neighbours dropping in to feed them twice a day), so we decided to look into a house sitter to avoid more vets bills.
We found Eloise who was reasonably priced and has previous experience with rescue cats. Our cats like quiet and calm people and are easily startled by loud noises, people who move quickly and will run away.
Prior to the weekend stay Eloise came over to meet us and both cats to properly introduce herself which was appreciated.
We created a small information sheet of their routines (including morning medication) and what they liked and disliked.
Eloise took this information onboard and was everything we needed her to be - our cats loved her and we felt very confident whilst away as we were sent photos and videos of Eloise with our floofs daily.
We would highly recommend Eloise and will definitely be contacting her again."

"Alice was an absolute lifesaver, stepping in to house sit for my cat and large dog on short notice over the holidays for two weeks. She was fantastic! From the very beginning, her communication was top-notch. During our meet and greet, she took the time to properly introduce our dogs, as I didn't mind to let her dog stay over if they got along.
Throughout her stay, Alice provided daily updates with pictures and videos, which was incredibly reassuring. She went above and beyond, especially when unexpected delays extended my return. I can't thank her enough for her flexibility and support.
Despite having two dogs who love muddy adventures, the house was spotless when I returned, just as I had left it. I highly recommend Alice for her exceptional care and dedication."
