"George is a very kind, caring and lovely person. This was our first time leaving our dog with someone to go on holiday and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. He took absolutely great care of our dog, he followed our instructions precisely and treated her with lots of attention and cuddles. We came back to a spoiled dog who was of course happy to see us but didn’t seem to miss us, we now worry she may want to move in with George 😂 Not only that, we came back to a spotless house, I cannot describe how wonderful it is to come home from the airport and find that you have nothing to clean! We will definitely trust George again with our precious dog and our home. Thank you for putting our minds at ease from the moment you walked through the door x "

"Jennifer was reccommended by a friend in my area. She looked after my very frail, elderly cat and my dog for a weekend. We arrived home to happy pets and clean house. I'd happily use her services again!"

"Jennie has been a great house sitter and made a firm friend with my cat! Jennie did all I asked for (bins, post, more bins!) and more (feeding the birds daily, and clearing up a half-digested mouse in the kitchen - only once, fortunately!) and I have been completely reassured to leave the house and my cat in her very kind and capable care! Highly recommend her!!"

"Madhu was an excellent pet sitter, and we would happily book her again. She was very easy to communicate with throughout, calm and dependable with our pets, and kept us regularly updated, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We returned to a very tidy home and clearly well-cared-for pets. Madhu was responsible, attentive, and respectful of both our animals and our home. We highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use her services again."

"Felicitas was tasked with taking care of our two beloved dogs - a staff cross and a border collie cross. Though they usually have a great relationship, they can sometimes be a handful around strangers. However, Felicitas handled them with exceptional care, providing entertainment and even training for our furry friends. Throughout the duration of her pet-sitting, she kept us informed with regular updates and sent us plenty of photos and videos. We were extremely grateful for her efforts, especially since we missed our dogs immensely while we were away. Overall, Felicitas proved to be an outstanding pet sitter who has a genuine love and affinity for dogs. We definitely plan on hiring her again in the future and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants a top-notch pet-sitting experience!"

"Susan was a great house sitter. She was lovely with our 2 dogs and sent regular photos and updates on how they were doing. She took good care of our home and I feel she is very reliable and conscientious. Very happy to have her back….as long as she is happy to return! 😁"

"Chloe stepped in at the last minute to house sit for our very bouncy Labrador. She did a wonderful job for which we’re really grateful. Communication was great, especially when an unexpected trip to the vet was needed (the dog’s fault and not a reflection on Chloe’s care!). Would definitely recommend her. "

"Liliia helped us at very short notice and we were very pleased that she did because she has all the skills and personality needed by the perfect dog sitter! Lliia responded quickly to our request and was flexible with the arrangements for the start and finish times but most, important of all, Liliia is confident, capable and respectful and made instant friends with our Romanian rescue dog and looked after her very well. We have no hesitation in recommending Liliia - one of the best! Gerry and Janet"

Pawshake also offers house sitting in

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Cowden home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Cowden.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Cowden home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Cowden on Pawshake. Over 459 pet owners in Cowden have left a review, with an average of 4.94/5. All paid safely using Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
