Hello, I'm Laura!

I'm a premium dog walker based in Hammersmith & West Kensington, offering dedicated dog walks within a 1.5km radius of my base.

I recently relocated to London from Vancouver, Canada. I'm a British citizen with an Irish background, and I'm excited to be giving London a go! I’ve been working with dogs and cats for over eight years—most recently as a manager at an award-winning dog walking, house sitting, and cat care business in Canada. My hands-on experience includes working as a dog walker, daycare assistant, and dog driver. This involved hiking groups of dogs off-leash through the lush mountains of North Vancouver! It always melted my heart to see them happily pooped out on the drive home. 🐶❤️

My time with dogs in Canada was incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to bring that same high level of care to London—just urban style!

Please Note – Important Transparency for Owners:

• Ad-Hoc Schedule Only: Because I am actively job hunting, my schedule changes frequently. I am currently in temporary accommodation in Hammersmith (hoping to stay in the Hammersmith, Fulham, or Kensington area next). To remain fully reliable, I strictly offer Monday–Friday immediate, short-term, ad-hoc walks rather than permanent, recurring weekly slots.
• Booking Window: I only take bookings up to 1 week in advance.
• Strictly 1-on-1 & On-Leash: To ensure total safety and build genuine familiarity, I do not offer multi-stack or group walks. Every walk is strictly one-on-one, door-to-door, and on-leash. Your dog gets 100% of my focus and energy. City safety is my absolute priority.
• Tracked Walks: Every walk includes real-time WhatsApp updates and a Strava map screenshot of our route so you can see exactly where we went and how far we walked (fully optional if you prefer to opt out!).

Walks offered:

• 30-Minute Express Walk: £16 (+£10 for a second dog from the same household).
• 60-Minute Extended Walk: £25 (+£15 for a second dog from the same household).

How to Book a 60-Minute Walk or 2-Dog Extended Walk:
Pawshake only lists a standard 30-minute option by default. To book a longer session, please select the standard walking option and drop me a message stating you would prefer the 60-minute walk.

Before you pay, I will manually adjust the booking total inside our chat thread to reflect the 1-hour rates:

• 1 Dog (60 mins): £25 total
• 2 Dogs (60 mins): £40 total
