Hi, I’m Abbey☺️ a passionate and reliable pet sitter based in central Edinburgh, with 15+ years caring for my 2 dogs and 4+ years of hands-on dog walking & boarding experience across the city.

🎓I have a background in veterinary studies, giving me a strong foundation in pet health, behaviour, and safe handling. I’ve also worked in pet hospitals and volunteered at animal shelters, caring for a wide range of animals, including those with medical or extra care needs.

⏰ Availability:

I currently have a fairly flexible but variable schedule, as I'm job searching and atteding events and appointments. This means I can accommodate many weekday bookings, but availability can vary day to day.

For boarding, I’m best suited to dogs who are comfortable being left at home alone for a few hours from time to time. As I’m not currently working from home on a fixed schedule, I unfortunately can’t guarantee that someone will be home with your dog 24/7. Because of this, boarding tends to work best for well-trained, settled dogs who are comfortable in a home environment and can cope happily with some time alone.

I also have additional support at home from my male partner (who is a veterinary student), which is especially helpful with boarding and means there is additional animal-care knowledge and support available at home.
